It’s that time of month again! Not the one where you need Ibuprofen and a heating pad. The one where it’s Christmas in insert the current month! STITCH FIX THERAPY! Yes, it’s better than actual therapy. I’ve tried both so I know these things.
Anyway, this month things are a little different. I’m trying a new way of photographing my fixes and, to be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about this new method just yet. Feedback is appreciated!
I asked my stylist Nat Q. for some fun Springy items that I’ll feel good in as well as a peplum top. I really love peplum tops and only own one from this Trunk Club review. Without further ado, here is what my amazing stylist sent!
Blu Pepper – Catlin Split Back Knit Top
I thought I was going to keep this top when I first tried it on. It has everything I love in a cute Stitch Fix top – a split back and a cute embroidered detail that, otherwise, transforms a plain shirt into something snazzy. Well, see how every photo of the back one of the splits is annoyingly crumpled? That kept happening to me while I was trying to photograph the back and it was super annoying! I realized that the shirt will probably lay like this on me when I wear it and my OCD will flip out. Plus, at this point, I own quite a few cute SF tops so I am more and more picky about what I decide to keep.
Wren&Willa – Rohan Layer Detail Blouse
I asked for a peplum top in this fix and Nat Q. assured me that there aren’t any she thought would work with my body type so she sent this shirt instead. She called it a reverse peplum which I agree with! Unfortunately, the material was rough against the skin and I just didn’t really like the style of this top. I do, however, think the outfit with my slub knit cardigan, black skinnies, and Lucky boots is really cute!
Market & Spruce – Channy Open Cardigan
I love this cardigan! I don’t own anything like it and it is just so darn cute and perfect for Spring. Why did I send it back? Stupid budget constraints. It ultimately didn’t make the cut because there is another piece in this fix that is better! Continue on…. 🙂
Les Lis – Etal Cowl Neck Hacci Knit Top
This top is cute, but I think I’m over the whole dolman top trend. I own two already and I pretty much haven’t worn them in a few seasons. Bye Felicia! (Feeling sassy right now because my Winc wine box delivery arrived today)
Renee C – Addae Knit Dress
Here it is friends! The gorgeous winner of this fix! This dress is perfect! I photographed it wearing 3 different pairs of shoes to show you how versatile this piece is. You can dress it up or down and it is stunning either way. The material is that soft knit Stitch Fix is so famous for so it is super comfortable. Throw on a cardigan when it gets chilly and/or some leggings and boots and you’re good to go. Dress it down for a day of errands with some Toms or wear some cute flats for a casual dinner date.
