The whole underlying theme of this blog is healthy living whether that be through healing, inspiration, social commentary, feeling good through fashion, photography, or through healthy eating.
I love to cook, but I hate meal planning which is really weird considering I love to plan everything else in life. Meal planning is more important than ever for me now that I am also cooking for my almost 1 year old daughter. We want her to have the best nutritional start possible in hopes that we cultivate healthy eating habits that will stay with her throughout her life. That means fresh, home cooked meals are a must.
In an effort to be better at meal planning, I’m going to start a new post series titled
Weekly Meal Plan
I am going to share with you what I plan to cook for the week with either links to the recipes I plan to use or if it’s an original recipe than I will post recipe cards. I will also create a nifty, printable grocery list for you so you don’t have to write everything down and instead it’s all organized for you 🙂 Yaaayyy for organization!
This week’s meal plan is brought to you by my favorite food blog Pinch of Yum.
Every recipe I’ve tried from this blog has been excellent! So this week I plan to cook 3 Pinch of Yum recipes with 3 nights of leftovers.
Meal Plan for Week of February 1, 2016
Make a frittata with any leftover meat & veggies from the week
Happy cooking this week! What are you planning to cook?
