Good Friday morning to you all!
It’s a perfect winter morning here in Asheville. The sky is overcast, the temps are low, and everything just feels like it’s in hibernation. I see some grass trying to grow and little snippets of greenery poking through the brown detritus of winter.
I love winter mornings like this one!
I can’t help but feel the sense of a new hope that January and the new year brings. I am grateful for this hope. Spring is just around the corner, but right now we are thick in winter mode and I love it. Winter brings about reflection. There are zero distractions to your truth. This is when the magic happens. This is when, at least for me, my most clear and productive reflections arise.
I’m getting excited for spring, but right now winter is exactly where I want to be.
