I have dragged my feet in writing this post. I apologize for the lateness, but as I wrote in my latest Gratitude Friday post, it’s been a rough week. I had all of these grand intentions of stepping up my Stitch Fix photography game and taking better pictures of the pieces I decided to keep but obstacles kept getting in my way. Since I have another fix coming next week I figured I should just post these results and talk up next weeks Stitch Fix post 🙂
So next week, I’m stepping up my game! I hope it works out. I look forward to hearing feedback from you all.
Okay, on to Stitch Fix #3 results…
Thanks for everyone who took the time to vote! I love seeing the results come in.
I loved every single piece in this fix. Fortunately (for my bank account) and unfortunately (for my closet), not every piece fit well. So here’s the verdict:
They sent a size smaller than what they normally send so these jeans gave me muffin tops – NEVER a good look.
I so wanted to keep this dress! Unfortunately, cinched waisted dresses never fit me right. I am an A cup and this style, while super adorable, always is too big in the bust for me. Sadly, I had to part ways with this awesome dress.
This blouse is 100% me! I love patterns and funky hardware. There’s a retro-ness to this piece that I love. It was a no brainer!
The fabric is super soft! This piece is so versatile as you can dress it up with some heels and jewelry or dress it down with a tee or tank and some Toms.
I requested a cross body bag for this fix. I have a 9 month old so I still have to carry around a big, bulky diaper bag. I wanted a smaller purse for myself so I don’t look like the crazy bag lady every time I leave the house. Also, a smaller purse will discourage the bottomless pit purse syndrome that I fall victim to often. This will save me so much money on potential physical therapy bills for my shoulders due to having to lug around a purse that weighs a ton of bricks.
So yeah, I couldn’t help myself – I kept 3 items instead of 2. I’m so darned disciplined all the freaking time I figured it doesn’t hurt to splurge every now and then 🙂
I am participating in another blog link up with The Pleated Poppy
