Hello March! Spring is almost here and I am ecstatic about it. I love spring fashion and I love spring activities. We just bought a super bad ass jogging stroller and I plan to get my money’s worth out of it now that the weather is warming up.
Okay, really quickly…the boring stuff…here is a rundown of Stitch Fix for those just tuning in. I am a Stitch Fix affiliate which means if you use my referral link below I receive a commission. Thanks for supporting Type A Mamas!
For this fix, I requested spring transition pieces. I also told my stylist Jessica that I am loving the whole mint and pastels trend this season. So without further ado…
Mavi – Ruxin Boyfriend Jean
I’ve never owned a pair of boyfriend jeans before and I really wanted to try this style out. Unfortunately, my boyfriend jeans felt like something my boyfriend could fit into. I am tall and slender (on the skinny side of slender) and I felt like Gumby wearing baggy pants. I should have taken a picture of the back because then you would understand why these guys had to go. It sagged around my hips, butt, and thighs which I don’t think is a great look. Sadly, I guess I’m not a boyfriend jeans kind of girl.
Brixton Ivy – Willard Lace Overlay Blouse
The minute I pulled this top out I knew I was keeping it. I love the lace detail and the mixed material from front to back. What a cute spring piece!
Les Lis – Hollycroft Crew Neck Blouse
The pattern is cute but nothing that gets me super excited. It felt a little too big on me and the kicker is it’s 100% polyester. Nope.
Alice Blue – Inverell Knit Jacket
I pinned this piece a while back and was hoping it would come my way! Also, my friend Janine over at Embracing Epsilon has this jacket and I covet it every time she wears it. Now whenever we go out together we are going to have to make sure we text each other to make sure we don’t wear the same outfit out haha! This jacket feels like you are wearing a sweatshirt. It is sooooooo comfortable. I love the collar, the lines, the colored dots…yeah this is a winner.
Skies are Blue – Cauly Allover Print Knot Detail Knit Top
I was hoping something mint would be in this fix! At first, I wasn’t sure about the floral pattern. It’s bold that’s for sure. I love the way this top fits as well as the cute knot detail in the front. In the end, I decided this top was fun and happy and that I should keep it. I’m glad I did 🙂
