You all know how much I love me some Stitch Fix. In fact, I’m all about getting fun mail hence why I have been getting my money’s worth out of my Amazon Prime Membership. Oops! Look at that! Okay, so back to what’s important. Wine.
What’s in the box?
- Each box they send contains 4 bottles of wine.
- You can request an all red box, all white box, or a mix of both. I chose to get a box of mostly reds with one white option.
- Each bottle of wine is about $15 so each box is about $65 with shipping.
- For your first box they give you a 50% discount!
Look at this awesome packaging! These stickers are hilarious.
I loved every bottle they sent. I was surprised that my profile matched me with a Shiraz because I typically don’t like Shiraz. Well, apparently I just haven’t had the right Shiraz because the bottle they sent was delicious! I’ve also never had a Chenin Blanc before and it I loved it!
I was very happy with this first box! I loved that they sent items that pushed my boundaries a bit and introduced me to something new that I normally wouldn’t do.
After a great first box I was super excited for the second one. Annnnnndddddd I was disappointed 🙁 I gave feedback after the first box and just assumed the algorithm would get better and better with each box. Well the algorithm failed. Math failed! What a sad day! The only bottle I loved was the Savingnon Blanc. The rest did not suit my taste.
Final Thoughts and Referral Link
I love the concept of getting a box of wine in the mail! The only downside is you have to be home to sign for the package and show an ID which isn’t always very convenient.
I really enjoyed trying new wines that I normally wouldn’t have tried on my own. The second box being a miss was hard because I didn’t like the wines they sent yet felt I had to drink it otherwise I wouldn’t be getting my money’s worth!
I wish they sent a little more literature on the wines they chose for you. I’m a novice when it comes to “wine talk” and would like to learn more about regions, grapes, vocabulary, and whatnot.
All in all I am very happy with this service and would definitely recommend you try it! I get credits if you use my referral link so if you would be so kind show me some love 🙂 Thank you!!!!
Have you tried a wine subscription box before? Who was it with and how was it for you?
